Walking Tours

Consistently rated one of America’s most walkable cities, Annapolis is best experienced on foot. There are a number of guided walking tours available in the city, but there’s also a couple options to go it alone when you’re in town. The city’s Historic Walking Tour (available to view in the Visit Annapolis Visitors Guide) includes an easy-to-follow map of the city, highlighting 33 landmarks and visitor resources to make the most out of a walk around the small city. The Visitor Center is a great place to start, with friendly, knowledgeable volunteers to help you find anything you need. There’s also the AnnapolisNOW app – an interactive map at the palm of your hand that highlights points of interests as you stroll through Annapolis’ brick streets.
