American Alliance of Museums (AAM) recently shared the following announcement with us. We want to make sure you, our partners, are aware of this initiative so you can take the opportunity to participate and create impact from your recent COVID-19 experiences.
AAM is launching a survey to create a snapshot of how US museums are responding to the COVID-19 pandemic, and to assess the impact of this crisis on our field.
The information you provide will help AAM continue to advocate for funding and other forms of relief, raise public awareness regarding how this crisis is affecting your museums, and understand what AAM can do to meet your needs.
The questionnaire consists of twenty questions and is designed to be as easy to complete as possible. It should take no more than 15 minutes of your time.
AAM is seeking one response per institution, so please do not share the link with your staff, unless you are delegating responsibility to one person to complete it on your behalf.
The survey will remain open until June 29, and AAM looks forward to sharing a summary of the results with the field.
AAM continues to be an invaluable provider of resources during the COVID-19 pandemic, many of which we have featured in past posts and newsletters. We highly encourage our heritage partners to complete this survey.
