Maryland Day: Unpaused Starts Today!

Maryland Day UnpausedThe Maryland Day celebration event originally scheduled for March is now back with free events during the month of June. You can enjoy virtually with your family and friends at no cost. There are also a few in-person activities that you can enjoy with your family. This new collection of events is called Maryland Day: Unpaused.

Maryland Day: Unpaused will take place June 5-29.

With so many things placed on hold, we are here to highlight our Maryland Day partners’ re-openings post Covid-19, with new online content, virtual experiences,  and outdoor places to explore. Please check back to the event website often as we update our Maryland Day: Unpaused page with great family activities to share.

The events and activities are all located at sites within or nearby the Four Rivers Heritage Area, located between The City Of Annapolis and the southern tip of Anne Arundel County, Maryland.

This is a great time to safely explore and learn about the local heritage of this area.

Four Rivers’ own virtual review of “Maryland Day in the Four Rivers Heritage Area” is coming later in June, stay tuned!

Maryland Day is funded by the Four Rivers Heritage Area (and our funders: MHAA, the City of Annapolis, and Anne Arundel County)  and participating venues to highlight our historic, natural, and cultural sites. Management of Maryland Day is by the Chesapeake Children’s Museum and marketing is by Evans Management LLC.
