Four Rivers Wecomes New Team Member: Heather Ritterpusch

We are delighted to welcome a new member to our team! Heather Ritterpusch is the new Heritage Programs Coordinator. Heather is an experienced museum professional, skilled in the management of historical and fine art collections. She served as curator of The Kiplinger Washington Collection, formerly one of the largest private holdings of Washingtoniana (including historic maps, engravings, and photographs). When the Kiplinger family donated their private collection to local institutions, Heather oversaw the integration of the collection into the holdings of the Historical Society of Washington D.C. She subsequently served as curator of the University of Maryland School of Nursing Living History Museum. Heather also held a fellowship at The John and Mabel Ringling Museum of Art in Sarasota, FL. Heather received an M.A. in Museum Studies from The George Washington University and a B.A. in History from the University of Maryland, College Park. A native of Maryland’s Eastern Shore, Heather currently lives in Annapolis with her husband, son and rescue pup. Welcome, Heather!
