This installment will feature Lyman Hall, author of The Stewards of West River: A Maryland Family During the American Revolution.  A soldier, a prisoner of war, a hero – one of Maryland’s sons.   Hear about John Steward, an Army Lieutenant, who served with the elite Maryland Line and fought in consequential battles throughout the American Revolution including Long Island, South Carolina, and Yorktown. Winslow Homer (1836–1910) is regarded by many as the preeminent American painter of the 19th century, well known for his dynamic renditions of scenes from the coast.
