2021 Architectural Fieldwork Symposium

Registration is now open for the Maryland Historical Trust’s annual Architectural Fieldwork Symposium, which will be held virtually on October 28 and 29, from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm each day. This event is free to attend, but pre-registration is required. The Maryland Historical Trust's annual Architectural Fieldwork Symposium brings together field surveyors, architectural historians, preservation planners, and related practitioners from across the state to discuss recent projects, themes, and methodology.

Are you looking for something fun and different to do with the whole family this Halloween season? Families are invited to make some memories at the historic Hammond-Harwood House Museum at our annual Pumpkin Walk, which has been a staple in Annapolis for over twenty years! Families will begin by enjoying a superstitions tour of the mansion to learn about curious customs of the 18th century. The fun will continue with a parade and end with activity stations in our fenced-in garden: witch storytelling, pumpkin toss, and a take-home craft....
