Yoga in the Garden at London Town

Open to all levels, these classes are a refreshing way to begin your Sunday morning. Zen provided by the gardens overlooking the South River, instruction provided by various talent from the area, and yoga mat provided by you! Each week is a new theme. Event is rain or shine. Free with a suggested donation of $10 per person

First Sunday Arts Festival

West and Calvert Streets

Enjoy live entertainment and the works of 100 local and regional artists as you stroll along the first block of West and Calvert Streets next to Whitmore parking garage. Local restaurants set up outside cafes that are perfect for people watching and an afternoon bite to eat. Free parking for the family-friendly event is available at the state parking garage on the corner of Calvert and Bladen Streets.

Harvest Day in the Village

The Deale Area Historical Society invites you to its Harvest Day in the Village. Experience the past with a tour of the historic village at Herrington Harbour North. Step back in time to understand life in the early 1900’s. Enjoy homemade butter, ice cream, artisans & trades of the early twentieth century. Free Admission.

ArtWorks Exhibit Opening Reception

Captain Avery Museum 1418 E West Shady Side Road, Shady Side

Masterpieces by youngsters in the ArtWorks program run by Creative and Performing Arts of South County (CPASC) will be on display at the Captain Avery Museum throughout October. Kicked off with an opening reception on Sunday, October 1, the exhibit will be open every Sunday in October from 1-4 pm, including during the museum’s Oyster Festival on October 15. Free.
