Unveiling of a Historic Marker about the Lynchings that Occurred in Anne Arundel County

This event is being coordinated by Connecting the Dots: Remembrance and Reconciliation Project Anne Arundel County, MD. The marker will document the following African American people who were lynched in Anne Arundel County: John Sims (June 13, 1875),  George Briscoe (November 26, 1884), Wright Smith (October 5, 1898), Henry Davis (December 21, 1906), and King Johnson (December 23, 1911), along with victims who remain unknown.
