FEBRUARY 9 The Story of the Making of the first U.S. Flag – Marjorie Riordan

Marjie Riordan is an engaging speaker and historian. Mary Young Pickersgill produced the gigantic Star Spangled Banner, our defining icon. But most of her life was spent training women to find work as seamstresses. She also was instrumental in establishing the first home for the aged in Baltimore. Her city remembers her for her humanitarian service to the needy.
