Bourbon and Boxwood

It’s Whiskey and Revolution! Join the Friends of the Rising Sun Inn for Bourbon and Boxwood on Saturday, September 25, 2021, at the Historic Rising Sun Inn located at 1090 General’s Highway, Crownsville. Register for either the 1:00pm or 4:00pm session.
In the shadow of our 300 year old historic boxwood, enjoy this special event featuring a sampling of locally distilled bourbons from the McClintock Distilling Co. of Frederick, Maryland. Learn about the rise of whiskey distilling in Maryland during the American Revolution, countering the British blockades of American ports.
Tickets are $35.00 each or $60.00 for two and include the lecture, whiskey sampling, and lite bites. When purchasing your tickets, be sure to select the session time you wish to attend, either 1:00 – 3:00pm or 4:00 – 6:00pm.
Space is limited for this event. Purchasing tickets in advance is required.
Must be over 21 years old to attend.
