Sponsored in part by the Four Rivers Heritage Area, the 10th Annual Maryland Day Celebration is being coordinated by the Chesapeake Children’s Museum in partnership with a variety of participating museums, heritage sites and local businesses. Rediscover Maryland’s history with family and friends during a fun-filled festival highlighting the uniqueness of the Four Rivers Heritage Area. This year, more than 20 locations in Anne Arundel County will be offering tours, events, concerts, games, and hands-on demonstrations for free or $1 per person. Stroll through downtown Annapolis or visit Historic London Town and the southern Anne Arundel County countryside to enjoy educational tours, costumed reenactors, art exhibits. children’s activities and more.
