Maryland Humanities CARES Act Emergency Relief Grants

Applications Open May 1 Maryland Humanities is accepting applications to its $500,000 CARES Act Emergency Relief Grants Fund. The funding is made available by the National Endowment for the Humanities as part of the CARES Act. The goal of this new program is to sustain Maryland’s public humanities infrastructure and to ensure that organizations can continue to provide opportunities for Maryland’s diverse communities to access and engage with public history, cultural heritage, and civic learning during this unprecedented time. Paycheck Protection Program Resumed

Following the second round of CARES Act funding, the Small Business Administration (SBA) has resumed accepting Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) applications from participating lenders. Nonprofits with less than 500 employees are eligible to apply for this federal relief measure. About the Paycheck Protection Program The Paycheck Protection Program is a loan designed to provide a direct incentive for small businesses to keep their workers on the payroll.
