We're excited to announce some new openings among our heritage sites. The US Naval Academy is open to the public, which means if you're in Annapolis, you can now visit the Naval Academy Museum as well. Four Rivers: The Heritage Area of Annapolis, London Town & South County joins the Hogan Administration in announcing 10 new grants totaling $414,039 to local Annapolis and Anne Arundel County non-profit organizations by the Maryland Heritage Areas Authority (MHAA). The Maryland Historical Trust's Maryland Historic Revitalization Tax Credit Program is accepting applications for small commercial projects (projects of $500,000 or less) on a first-come, first-served basis until the program cap is reached. Eligible projects may earn a state income tax credit equal to 20 percent of qualified rehabilitation expenditures. Small commercial rehabilitations are defined as projects that do not exceed $500,000 in total qualified rehabilitation expenses.
