Just Announced for Annapolis Small Businesses and Nonprofits: Emergency Funding for Recovery from January 9 Flooding

Anne Arundel Economic Development Corporation (AAEDC) has announced: Following the State of Emergency declaration made by the City of Annapolis on January 12, 2024, AAEDC’s VOLT program has been allocated funds from the Maryland Small, Minority and Women-Owned Business Account to assist businesses and non-profits impacted by the flooding event on January 9 and 10, 2024. Additional MHAA Grant Funding Supports Local Maritime Museum

MHAA Logo The Administrators of the Maryland Heritage Areas Authority (MHAA) have notified Chesapeake Crossroads Heritage Area that a tenth grant has been awarded in our heritage area in FY2024. Emergency grant funding in the amount of $17,773 has been awarded to Annapolis Maritime Museum for the project, “Emergency Funds at the AMM,” for classroom ceiling repairs and the installation of an outdoor ADA walkway. This brings the total of state MHAA funding to the Chesapeake Crossroads Heritage Area to $470,273 for FY2024.
