Historic Village – Deale Area

The Deale Area Historical Society’s mission is to collect, preserve, exhibit and interpret documents, images and artifacts related to the history of the Deale, Maryland area in order to share its history and culture with the local community and the general public. On site, you’ll find a 19th-century village featuring Deale area exhibits, a one-room school, African-American beneficial society meetinghouse, a dwelling, and outbuildings.

The Deale Area Historical Society opens the village each Sunday 1-4pm, May – October and other times by appointment. Call 410-279-2078.
