“Annapolis Ahead 2040” Public Presentation Schedule

The following update was shared with us by the City of Annapolis Department of Planning and Zoning. Thank you to everyone who has contributed to the city’s comprehensive plan. Your input will play an important role in envisioning the future of Annapolis.

We hope you will be able to join the Department of Planning and Zoning for an upcoming public presentation to learn more about how you can provide further comment on this 20-year plan.

Annapolis Ahead 2040 Updates and Upcoming Presentations

As part the process to develop Annapolis Ahead 2040, the City of Annapolis’ updated Comprehensive Plan, the Department of Planning & Zoning will be releasing the plan’s draft goals, performance metrics, and recommended actions on June 11 for public review and comment. The draft content will be released via the Annapolis Ahead 2040 website and visitors to the website will be able to share comments through an online form. The comment period will run through early August.

As part of this release, planning staff will be giving two public presentations in the coming weeks to provide an overview of the plan’s direction and process:

Planning Commission, June 3, 7pm
City Council work session, June 17, 3pm

Both events will be broadcast live on Annapolis City TV. Recordings of the events will also be shared on the Annapolis Ahead 2040 website and archived on the Annapolis City TV website.

Regardless of whether you have participated a lot, a little, or not at all in the comprehensive plan process so far, your input now on the Annapolis Ahead 2040 Comprehensive Plan is greatly appreciated!
