City of Annapolis Seeks Next Poet Laureate

Applications and Nominations for the Next Annapolis Poet Laureate Due February 26. Mayor Gavin Buckley has announced the search for the next Poet Laureate for the City of Annapolis. The Poet Laureate for the City is an honorary role with responsibility to promote the literary arts and literacy within the Annapolis community. The Art in Public Places Commission (AIPPC) is in charge of selecting the Poet Laureate. Maryland Day Weekend Events: March 19-21, 2021 Family-friendly events designed for families to experience history and culture in Annapolis and Southern Anne Arundel County.
