Maryland Heritage Areas Authority Awards Matching Grants Totaling $310,000 to Local Heritage Organizations

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: JULY 13, 2016 Annapolis, MD: Four Rivers: The Heritage Area of Annapolis, London Town & South County joins the Hogan Administration in announcing 5 new grants totaling $310,000 to local Annapolis and Anne Arundel County non-profit organizations by the Maryland Heritage Areas Authority (MHAA). There have been new “Visitor-focused” pages added to the Four Rivers website! We have added a “Themed Trails” section to our menu, with eight pages listing attractions, museums, and more — for visitors interested in following a theme-based interest! These “themed trails” include: African American Heritage Trail, Agricultural Heritage Trail, Annapolis Art Trail, Annapolis’ “Golden Age” Heritage Trail, Historic Houses Trail, the Roots and Tides Scenic Byway, Sacred Places Trail, and the Waterways Trail.
