Kunta Kinte-Alex Haley Foundation

The Kunta Kinte-Alex Haley Foundation links families to their roots and links scholars to history and opportunities for discovery. Come learn more about your ancestors at one of our two Genealogy and African-American Resource Centers. Both Centers are free and open to the public. Or visit the Kunta Kinte-Alex Haley Memorial, which is seem by some 1,000,000 people per year. While you are here in Annapolis, Maryland to see the Memorial, you may also want to book one of our award-winning African-American walking tours, developed in partnership with Watermark Tours. Our historical preservation programs and special Roots Camps for multi-generational families have won numerous awards. Start your Four Rivers journey with the Kunta Kinte-Alex Haley Foundation and experience a lifetime of family memories.
